The 24th release is inspired by and dedicated to the Heroes of Ukraine. It is a single by young electro-acoustic experimental trio “Quark Effect” (K. Pukinskis – saxes, D. Snarskis – drums, M. Samulionis – electronics) named “Direction”. As the name suggests, this piece directly and metaphorically shows the direction for the Russian forces after they have entered the soil of Ukraine. This is achieved by the use of viral phrase “Russian ship, go f*** yourself” and harsh avant-garde, post-punk, noise aesthetics. “Screaming” saxophone, “punchy” drums and heavy distorted electronics together create a really aggressive and powerful musical language which leaves the listener with no doubt – there is only one direction for the Russian forces.

Along with the original track you will find a remix made by electronic music duo “Artfcl” which transforms this energy and puts it into another perspective. This time the same phrase and feeling is transmitted via more electronic approach where such musical styles as IDM, Drum and Bass, Breaks, Rave combine.

Every cent of the money earned from this release will be donated to “Blue/Yellow” organization which supports Ukraine, its Armed Forces and the civil population in Donbass area since 2014 and is a key supporter in its war against Russia.
